Inagh Playground Open !!!

We’re open! Gates opened at 5pm Friday 10 June.

We have some work to finish but the park is now safe to use so we are opening, and thank you for your patience. Later in the summer, when the jobs are finished, we will have a Community Day to celebrate the achievement and to thank all who got us to this stage.

Nearly There … Inagh Playground

We are nearly there…..
Our parish community playground/park in Inagh is almost ready to open. We need a last push to get it opened asap so we need a small bit more help to make it safe for our children first. If you can spare some time on Saturday and have a rake, shovel or wheelbarrow, please join us for as long or as short as you can from 10:00 to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm We need to rake out gravel on the paths (we have a machine to do the hard work!). Anybody with a strimmer is also very welcome. No kids though please for hopefully the very last time!!!

Active Retired Group Chair Yoga

So I invited a yoga teacher friend along to the active retired group I run and they all tried out chair yoga. They loved it so much we are having her back weekly for 6 weeks! It started last week, but you dont have to come every week and newcomers are always welcome. Everyone and anyone over 65 ish welcome. Even my dad loved it. Some great stretches and mindfullness all while sitting on your chair so no need to worry about getting up and down off the floor. I was surprised myself at how beneficial it was.
Anyway, share widely, spread the word to older people, perhaps you can offer someone a lift to it.
We are subsidising the cost so it’s only 6 euro a class…
