As Green Party Ireland spokesperson for Rural Development, I am delighted to see Clare County Council allocated €582,690 in funding for the Local Improvement Scheme. Our rural roads and laneways are vital for connecting our communities. Under the local improvement scheme Clare Co Council are responsible for identifying and prioritising roads for improvement works in consultation with residents/landowners.
