Creative Ireland Project Award

We have had further confirmation from Creative Ireland about other funding opportunities. These are all Local Authority lead but partnership with outside agencies is encouraged.
1. Creative Communities Economic Action Fund (Open) – Local Authority Culture and Creativity Teams in all 31 local authorities are invited to submit a proposal for initiatives jointly with their local authority colleagues working to develop creative economies at local level. In particular, we are asking local authorities, Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs) and their partners to support projects in the following sectors (i) Design Sectors (ii) Digital Creative Sectors (iii) Content Creation Sectors.

– There will be an online briefing session on 31st January 2023.
– The closing date for applications is 28th February 2023.
2. Creativity in Older Age Scheme 2023: Local authority Culture and Creativity Teams in all 31 local authorities are invited to submit a proposal for initiatives jointly with their local authority colleagues working to support the Age Friendly and Healthy Ireland Programmes. Further information to follow but it is anticipated that applications will open in mid-February with a closing date for applications in and around 10th March 2023.
3. Creative Climate Action II : Agents of Change (Open): Applications for the scheme are now open. The ‘Creative Climate Action II: Agents of Change’ programme is a joint initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme and the Department of Environment, Climate and Communications. There are two funding strands (i) SPARK grants between €20,000 and €50,000 (ii) IGNITE grants between €50,000 and €250,000. Closing date Monday 13th March 2023.
– An online application support session will take place on Wednesday 1st February from 1.00-2.00pm to help you with the application form, the development of project plans, and the preparation of budgets.
4. Creative Ireland and Shared Island: The Creative Ireland Programme will be in touch later in Q1 with a funding opportunity to support local authorities enhance networks of creativity in support of vibrant and inclusive people-to-people and community-to-community partnerships.
