€216,550 for Clare Sports Development

Thanks to my Green Party Ireland colleague and Minister for Sport Catherine Martin T.D. for supporting the sports capital appeals of these Clare groups and providing €216,550 in Sports Capital funding for Clare Sport.

Well done to the recipients, bringing all the health and social benefits of sport to communities across Clare;

• €80,837.81 to Newmarket-on-fergus GAA Club for Cora Caitlin GAA Renovation Project.
• €56,073.39 to Newmarket on Fergus Board of Management for Development of an Artificial playing surface.
• €50,122.35 to the Russell Cultural Centre Doolin for the Refurbishment of Doolin Community Center Sports Hall for Multi-Sport purposes.
• €29,515.70 to Lifford Oldtown FC for the development of a Synthetic Training Area for soccer.
